We partner with local churches, schools, and organizations to help fund mission trips to communities in need, where volunteers engage in sports activities and physical education as a means of building relationships, sharing the Gospel and promoting physical fitness, teamwork, and Christian values.
Physical Education Through Kenya Relief - Migori, Kenya
The physical education initiative in Kenya aimed to enhance not only the physical education opportunities for children and youth but also to integrate spiritual development. The trip incorporated Vacation Bible School (VBS) sessions and opportunities for sharing the gospel. By integrating these elements into the program, we aimed to not only promote physical health but also to nurture spiritual growth and holistic well-being among participants. Through collaborations with schools and orphanages, we were able to empower Kenyan youth with the tools, knowledge, and values needed for healthier and spiritually enriched futures.
Youth Evangelism Through New Hope Children's Home - Arequipa, Peru
We were able to sponsor a mission team partnered with New Hope Children's Home in Arequipa, Peru whose main focus of youth evangelism equipped young individuals to actively engage in spreading the message of faith and compassion. Through a combination of discipleship and hands-on outreach activities, the team was able to share the Gospel with many children, including a group of young ladies at a local Peruvian juvenile detention center. By investing in the spiritual growth of children, the mission aimed to cultivate a generation of young disciples who will positively impact their families, communities, and beyond.

Each year, The Bert Jones Scholarship and Mission Foundation eagerly sponsors a table and attends the Berrien County Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) chapter banquet, demonstrating their steadfast support for the organization's mission. With a commitment to empowering youth through faith and mentorship, the foundation recognizes the significance of FCA's efforts in fostering spiritual growth and leadership development among young athletes. Attending the banquet provides us with the invaluable opportunity to network, connect with like-minded individuals, and further amplify our impact in the community. By participating in this annual event, the foundation not only shows its solidarity with FCA's mission but also reinforces its dedication to nurturing the spiritual well-being of youth through sports.
